Circles and baking. Two of my favourite things! Bo Circles and baking. Two of my favourite things! Both need a plan, some delicious ingredients mixed together really well. And then adding that little extra something to surprise and delight. Sprinkling with intention and joy and purpose and love. Then baked to perfection so each one is a unique experience.

Circles are wonderful, magical, amazing experience Circles are wonderful, magical, amazing experiences.
They can be raw and uncomfortable, they can be fun and joyful. They can be all of those and more.
When we hold Circles for our client communities there is so much that goes on behind the scenes. The planning and creating and marketing.
I work with practitioners who hold Circles as part of their business (as I always have).
Having clarity around what purpose our Circles serve, why Circles are the form of gathering we offer, and how we anticipate folk will be altered by their experience (of course we can’t guarantee that!) helps to guide our planning, creating and marketing.
I work with people who want to deepen their skills and capacity as space holders, facilitators and ceremonialist.
I work with people who want to honour their experience and expertise and charge for their Circles, and are committed to contributing to economic justice*.
I work with people who want to fill their Circles. They don’t hold Circles for the sake of it; they hold them to offer their client communities a meaningful, healing, transformative, connecting experience in a safer space infused with love, compassion and generosity of heart.
Circle Skills is a flexible framework and meaningful methodology to plan, create, fill and hold your sharing circles for your client community.

Do you know your strengths? I’ve been revisiti Do you know your strengths?
I’ve been revisiting my results from the CliftonStrengths assessment.
My top 5-themes are Learner, Intellection, Input, Achiever and Relator:
💫I love to learn and the process of learning excites me (sometimes more than the outcome)!
💫I am introspective and appreciate deep, intellectual discussions (no small talk for me) and
💫 I’m inquisitive and love to collect knowledge (including books 🤣, quotes, resources)!
💫 I have a constant need for achievement and must achieve something tangible each day.
💫 I value relationships with intimacy and depth, and want to understand people’s feelings, goals, fears and dreams.
My top 10-themes fit into strategic thinking, relationship building and executing (making things happen).
I love exploring these traits and reflecting on how they’ve helped me create a business grounded in sharing what I learn and connecting deeply with people.
The one I struggled to accept was “Achiever”, and a little while ago I tried to reject it! That was disastrous for my mental health (and my work)!.
It has been so much better to embrace and honour this aspect of me; it keeps me moving, helps me navigate through challenges and keeps me sparky!
It’s soothing to go with my strengths rather than fighting them based on other people’s opinions or values.
Share a 🌟 in the comments if you know your strengths; and do share how it’s helped (or otherwise) and whether you’d recommend it?
